Traits and characteristics
Horses are the free independent spirits of the Chinese zodiac. They'll be truly so happy as long as they don't feel tied down. They just want their own space, they crave independence and a peaceful easy, mellow existence.
They are extremely animated, active and energetic. They're very charming and they also have a very caring, compassionate and selfless demeanour. They'll definitely want to be in charge of their own destiny, whether that is in the form of their own business or travelling the world in their quest to find their true vocation.
They may suffer from itchy feet though, the Horse loves to drift off and do its own thing. They are a wily, wise soul and pretty difficult to pin down but that charm never ceases to make an impression and they're impressively gorgeous.
Compatibility with other animals
The best match for the Horse is either the Tiger, Goat or Dog. The Horse will appreciate the Dog's loyal ways and dedication to the family. The Goat and Horse will both complement each other due to their passion for the more creative side of life. The Tiger and Horse have similar affable and easy-going temperaments, so they'll get along really well in that arena. The Horse isn't so compatible with the Rat, Ox, or Snake.
