Gemini full moon 2023: Here's everything you need to know

There’s a full moon in Gemini headed our way, which means an influx of information will follow, so be sure to stay grounded and keep an open mind during this time. The more aware you are of the present moment, the easier it will be to navigate this month’s perplexing lunation.

Peaking via 4 degrees of fact-checking Gemini on November 27 at 4:16 a.m. ET, this lunation could be equally as insightful as it is perplexing, especially when considering the astrological aspects at play. Keep in mind, the sun is also journeying through freedom-loving Sagittarius, evoking a desire to explore and venture into the unknown. Are you ready to embark on this new journey? If so, do you have all of the information you need to make it happen?

In the meantime, be sure to check where the astrological axis of Gemini-Sagittarius comes to life in your birth chart. These specific houses will be ignited by the sun, moon, Mercury, and Mars. More importantly, the full moon phase marks a period of completion, celebration, and emotional culmination. This occurs when the sun makes a direct opposition to the moon, which is equivalent to a call for balance between the sacred masculine (will, ego, physical identity) and divine feminine (intuition, emotionality, inner foundation).

You’ll also want to think back to the new moon in Gemini that took place on June 18, 2023, as November’s lunation could bring something in this area of your life full circle. There is something to learn (Gemini) in every experience (Sagittarius).

This full-circle moment could revolve around mercurial themes such as logistics, communication, conversations, mental awareness, and immediate circles, but there’s a catch. Mercury (celestial ruler of this lunation) is transiting larger-than-life Sagittarius, a sign where the meticulous messenger God struggles to discern between what is a fact vs. what is subjective.

Mercury will also be in its pre-retrograde shadow phase (as it will station retrograde on December 13) and forming a mind-boggling square to evasive Neptune in the process. That being said, despite having this epiphany and/or light bulb moment during the full moon, we could sense simultaneously sense a lack of clarity and/or omission within our exchanges.

In any event, it is imperative to be crystal clear when communicating, but more importantly, try not to jump to conclusions. After all, with a brand-new year over the horizon, we are more inspired to set New Year’s resolutions and commit to fresh routines with a newfound perspective. However, under the influence of foggy Neptune… it’s safe to say, nothing is as it seems. The sun, moon and Mars will also square off with Saturn, so if you run into unexpected delays, don’t be discouraged. These figurative roadblocks (and/or minor setbacks) encourage you to surrender to the present moment and let the chips fall where they may.

I know it’s hard not to indulge your curiosities under a full moon in Gemini, but this lunation is providing us with information that could bring our momentous speed to a halt, so take as long as you need to acclimate to the energy. Venus will also be in close proximity to the South Node in Libra, highlighting what’s been lacking balance in the realm of our interpersonal connections, as well as our personal lives. This will be a key indicator of what needs to be purged and released in order for us to step into a higher vibration.
