Chinese New Year 2023 - Find out what the year of the Hare means for your Chinese zodiac animal

Updated: Sep 24, 2023

Hare's (also known as Rabbits in Chinese astrology) are the luckiest animal with money, love and fame. With a Hare as your lucky charm, expect this year to bring you prosperity, hope and calm.

Hares are often depicted with their head in the clouds, but they are also known to be agile and quick. In 2023, you will be able to navigate life efficiently and thoughtfully while better-managing stress and danger.

While 2022 was a yang year - more action focused, 2023 will be a yin year and much more passive. There will be time for moments of reflection, rest and renewal.

The Chinese New Year is a chance to look back at the good things that have happened over the last year and make resolutions for the year ahead. In this spirit, we’ve taken a closer look at what each Chinese Zodiac sign can expect in 2023.

It will depend on what your Chinese element (Metal, Water, Wood, Fire or Earth) and animal are together to get a deeper insight into what you can expect from 2023. So download our app, which is available on Apple and Android, to find out your personalised Cosmic Fusion sign.

Overall though, here is how the year is looking for each zodiac animal:
